  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Nice
I like how you edited some parts of the song but clearly dislike how you edited the calm moments

hmm yeah I'm kinda in the same boat as some of the people here. I liked the vid but I felt the pacing was a bit too fast, its a very atmospheric song which is why I like the song a lot but I wanted to be drawn slowly into the visual experience the same way I get drawn to the melody when I listen to the song by itself. Anyway good to see someone using Arjuna

Apparently I'm right-brained to everyone else in this thread because I thought the pacing was AWESOME and I think it's one of your better vids :| (And not just because the song is pretty, I can really connect to this ...)

Maybe it's a Canadian thing?

The editing is very good, but what I liked, is the flow and atmosphere of the AMV is a very good job!

Nice work, I enjoyed it. Makes me want to pick up the show, which is something I've been saying I'll do for a while now. >>

That's what I call oversynced. There was just too much of it. Now honestly: Do you need so much scene changes and syncs for such a song and such an anime with strong artsy scenes? I don't think so. You totaly screwed a feeling for flow or atmosphere for me.

EDIT:
...but hey! This makes lust to watch the anime and maybe to an own amv.

The first time I watched this I didn't like it so much. I've never really liked videos to this source that much. However when I came back to it and watched it a few days later I liked it a little more. And a little more. And it grew and grew on me and now I love it >.>

I don't think it's oversynched at all, but rather you've added a really epic flow to it as its not just "cut-new scene-cut-new scene" but rather you move between scenes and keep coming back to stuff having this overall movement.

I lub it =w=
