You had a great use of effects in there. What I mean by that, you are great at using them. However, they didn't add much of anything to the video. Granted, you had little to work with because of the song choice, but the ribbons of video near the end that surround the other video, although done well, does really nothing besides proves that you can do it. Also, the floating mosaic didn't really do much for me. Impressive - yes. But did it add to the video - no. I liked the video because of the content, but if I had to op it you would get a 4 on effects at best.

Now keep in mind I'm not trying to be mean, and I understand this was for fun and all that, I just didn't enjoy all of the effects. Some were good, but others were distracting. This video just didn't cater to my tastes all that well.

Other notes about it:
The story you told, even only having six or so lyrics to work with, still came across well. The visual quality and sound quality were astounding. The song would be annoying if I had to listen to it by itself, but with the video it was tolerable. All in all it was put together okay, but had very poorly placed effects.

I seem to be the only desenting opinion... feels like being liberal in Alabama.

When SnhKnives began working on this project he told me that it was just an effects video and that he wanted to go crazy with effects just for the hell of it. If any plot made it through than that was simply coincidence. It's primaray purose is the soothing and relaxing to the eyes... I think.

In other words there was no point to it besides having fun with effects which I know they accomplished.

So, was the filename typo intentional?

Have seen the betas, so I've certainly been looking forward to seeing the finished product. It's currently re-encoding in TMPGEnc (as if my computer could handle that XviD encode. Pssh!)
