  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Thanks for the comments, Reigna, glad you liked it.

No worries, Kit's an ath.
Eva-Fan wrote:So um.. It looked cool... I think... I guess if I knew what I was looking at atleast half the time it would of been better. The opening was awesome but then it just got too crazy for my tastes.
Sweet. Deal.

as a matter of fact I have to approve of the highly sophisticated and professional use of effects. they look altogether very smooth and non-cheesy, switching into 3d track movement at the exact right time...
one effect was overused which was the delirium video malfunction you used in almost every scene in a very obvious way. the dots are not a real problem as they are more of a transparency than an effect...

whatsoever, there is absolutely nothing to it, it got even more random than the other tb's.
oh and I'd agree to nostromo here: a video solely with fx would put up a greater show ^^

all in all, clearly the best of the technique beats, especially considering the first part after the intro and the climax :P

8/10

Thanks a bunch, Jannis. Appreciate the comments. One day that video made only with effects will happen... but it's still a bit in the future.

Unfortunately... too much effects kills effects...
Thanks. So like effects =/= effects/BTB = BTBfxless?
Rurounikeitaro wrote:I saw this video as a test of your latest techniques combined with your old ones to be one of the best digital effect videos I've ever seen on the site. Problem was, I didn't enjoy the vid too much  The dots and the tad overuse of the Metro - true fiction type of effects got old very quick. Alot of times it was hard to tell what was going on which was similar to the old Technique beat but in the old technique beat I actually remember the moves and everything cause they were easy to read. This one, I had trouble finding them. Another thing was the song was good for a technique beat but a tad on the whatever side for just listening to. The Marilyn Manson one was classic, my friend loved it so much he put it as his myspace song a while ago.

Overall, it was a great display of effects but I don't know. I'd like to see you use these effects on a serious video though. Like a character profile or a song with words. For some reason when I think of your style I see Kisanzi but Kisanzi's songs have words. I don't know, this is just my opinion, but I believe I'll really be looking forward to one of your vids when it has words in it. Still one of the best Bleach videos on the site.
Thanks for the constructive comments. Sorry to dissapoint, but hey it floats my boat :P I've heard the same thing a few times now. Too fast, too obtrusive, can't-see-what-the-hell-is-going-on. What can I say? I did what I think was badass and stuck with it. And yes, Metro has been a major influence for me, so it's no surprise that you'd see similarities there.

I dunno, I've never liked working with lyrics... but I'll see, if a song comes along that's to my liking I'll do a video to it, otherwise I'd just be forcing myself to make a video to a song that doesn't do it for me.

Always appreciated, thanks RK.

Too true...Decoy is corrupting all my ideas now with all of his AE nonsense. And I'm probably doing a bit of the same...mebbe. All I know is that BTB is sneaking it's way into some of my new ideas.

In truth, the only actual effect in this vid is the inclusion of Bleach. The effects are the real source. XD
I think I've been influncing you for a while now, but that's also vice versa. Do doubt.

And yes, Bleach is more of an effect than the actual effects are.

P.S. - I'd like to add inthesto's version of BTB to the ever growing collection of other other BTBs.

P.P.S - I was leaning towards using this song at first.
