That's exactly why I picked that version. Overall it sounds more open and wide sounding, which engulfs you in the song more then the album version IMO. Glad you liked it you RACEist!

As for Speed for Need, I enjoyed it very much. You did an excellent job at keeping the pace of the song. The only thing I would point out about it is that the ice tunnel kind of dragged on a bit for me. Maybe cutting back and forth between another scene like the desert race (which I was surprised to see mostly absent) would have kept my interest for it. Either way, great work on both.

I originally wanted to have more of the desert race but after laying down clips and following the lyrics and the natural progression of the song I came with a delema about when I would be able to start the final race. If I had kept the desert part in with the amount I wanted to I would have had to start the final race at the part of the vid where the mach 6 gets damaged (which was the original plan.) It just seemed like too little time to spend on that that awesome race. Cutting back and forth between the ice and desert parts might have worked, but it would have defeated the story progression I was going for honestly, which was to keep each race limited to a 1 section.

I'm glad I could be of assistance in keeping the genetic pool clean And yeah, that was one of my fav scenes in the vid also, it took a bit of work to get it to line up just right.

I'm not sure what more sync you could be looking for, if not for direct sync. To me, that would have just detracted away from the source and the video. There is quite a bit of sync in this video though a lot of it is internal sync which is how I planned it. I wasn't looking for lots of hard jarring cuts and the like. I wasn't making a pointless action video, I was making a fun, flowing, upbeat video. To that extent the sync involved, be it lyric, beat, internal, mood, ect. was used to portray that concept. I feel I did a good job in that regard. But to each his own, thanks for the watch anyway.
