Everybody does, and you're all failing miserably.
Why try to be like Nostromo when I am already better than him? You guys are just failures.

Anyway, as for the video, I do somewhat agree with Ben, there was nothing that captured my attention and coherency between scenes was lacking, if at all even evident. Also, there was a real absence of build-up, and as pretty the scenes were, they weren't really used correctly (and by correctly, I mean in a manner which actually adds something to the video. Not just slapping them in where they appear to fit best). If anything I have to say the highlight for me was the first 5 seconds, after that it just went downhill.

Nostromo is not the father of multi-anime amvs >.>' well he made a lot of people starting editing multi-anime, but it's not like everyone is trying to be like him, lawl

yeah, i understand how this was a video to chill out: it's pretty simply edited and feels pretty light, specially because of the audio source. About half of the scenes used fit pretty much with the audio and make this pretty fun to watch. For a normal standard, it's just meh, but for something just made out of no real project and spontaneous feel, without the intention of having a special concept/storyline, i guess it worked pretty well! :P

There were many good and bad parts.

One of the biggest flaws about this video is it used anime footage that has been done countless of times in other dance videos. I would have liked it more if I was shown something new. The beginning was great. There were several scenes that lasted too long.

It was a good concept and song. Could have been better.

I would say just the same thing...

That banner deserved a somewhat more original amv!

But I wanna be nostromo!

Seriously though? Gimme a break, I'm obviously copying Funky-kun.

I guess this is where I'm supposed to start adding the qualifiers. This made use of clips I set up back at the end of 07. Dance Is and has always been my favorite genre. However, I'm over a year late to the party. The "audience" for this amv was myself only. And editing to these "overused" clips is quite fun since I never got to back before they got rammed into the ground. This is very much a guilty pleasure. But a pleasure nonetheless. It shouldn't be taken as anything more than face value.
Thanks for your opinion though.

And for reference, I spent about half as long making the banner as I did the video, and that's not a compliment to the banner.

I couldn't finish the video I got really bored with it. It just lacked any kind of concept for me and these kinds of videos aren't what I'm into anyway.

I liked overall atmosphere and quality of footage. But it was really kind of without concept and that music was something what I would call "background" so it also could not stick scenes together. Another thing was that I had feeling that some of clips I have seen at lease in 20 other AMVs. Also I had feeling at 00:54 that AR is a bit off, but that could be only my imagination.

Wow. I took the video in an entirely different method of viewing. It wasn't so much a action packed video as most are. It took it more a tribute/montage of dramatic scenes in anime. In that context, I really liked it and thought it was nice. =D

The best part of instrumental music is that it gives the amv whatever meaning the viewer ascribes to it.

Thanks to everybody who's commented.
