  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

YAY! Eve is dead! Long live CCR!

EDIT: eh, it was ok for a chuckle. something i'd watch once or twice then probably never watch again ...lol @ 2:28 & 0:47. It was very ... copycatish. 4/5
Were the pixelated masks done on purpose?
EDIT: I meant pixelated EDGES on the masks.

For the sake of education:
Quick Comment wrote:Excellent video as usual. Though I have to ask: How do you get your sprites to come out so sharp in your videos? I've worked with sprites on some of my previous videos, but when I've enlarged them, they become fuzzy around the borders. ~Drewaconclusion
It's quite simple actually. You just need to make extra-large copies of all of your sprites. And when you resize them you need to make sure to use the "nearest neighbor" option* to keep it from ruining all of the sharp edges. It's that easy, kids!
(*at least in photoshop; other image editing programs likely have some other equivalent)

Wasn't it obvious from the essay? I submit that it was.

Eureka Seven is a good series with an interesting lead character.

If you were lying and making it appear better than it is and I find that out someday you will suffer.

5/5 otherwise, pretty dope shit brraaaaahhhh
Correct on both counts, although there are sadly no battles against 8-bit animals and most of the references to the Genesis era are unintentional.

You don't know what you're talking about. Eve is alive and well...in all of us.

Crap. I really needed this credit to get my degree. I guess I'll never be a certified AMV professor.

But as for the vid, it's fun stuff. I enjoyed it. I'd say more but i'm still bummed on the essay...:(

i don't get it? why do we need our own forum?

edit: one of those damned gay swedes told me i should watch eureka 7 because it was, and i quote; "not silly".

not only do i subsequently find that it is a series chronicling the adventures of jailbait 'sky-surfing-neon-tinged-robot' pilots, i am now subjected to this indignity.

ps. that was awesome :o

It was okay for me. You know the editing and technical stuff was almost fine, but I just got into the song. As non native it´s not that easy to get the lyrics at the first time :|

I'll admit, TMBG and E7 would be instawin... but for some reason seeing them together, along with a certain beloved arcade icon has me more confused than the character in the video.
