Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

You have have used the incorrect mode of deinterlacing for your footage. I've had it happen to me about 3x now. I'll use Mode 2 or Mode 3 and it ends up not getting all the footage, but I don't find out until later when I'm editing the part of the footage that doesn't deinterlace properly. So I end up having to run other deinterlace filters even though I did Inverse Telecine. There definitely was some jagged edges, did you do your cropping and resizing in AVIsynth or in another program? That may be what has caused the remnants. I don't really see anything wrong with it until I fullscreen it and I'm using an LCD 17 Inch at 1920x1200 so I may be catching some things you aren't. It may also have been what you were intending with the filters though but it made the footage look kind of messed up and I couldn't watch it until I put it in VLC and had it set to deinterlace because I know HNI looks better than this if you do it correctly.

I'm not an expert on the technical DaCoolGohan, so you may be right. Next video I'll try to beta it more with people who can help me iron such things out if they occur. I used virtual dub + avisynth to crop and resize my video. Personally, I can see some blocking, but it doesn't look excessive to me. I still don't see any interlacing though.
