Some tight beat sync you had there. I'm not usually into instrumental videos but this one had so much awesome beat sync that I just couldn't dislike it x) There wasn't much of a story involved whatsoever, which took something away from it. Mindless action and eye-candy is fun to watch but kinda disposable..

Relatively bad quality....I'm also surprised no ones mentioned the fact that this is in the wrong AR yet (KARAS=16:9, not whatever the heck this is)...also the video seems really like, washed out. Maybe brining the saturation up a smidge on some scenes wouldnt be a bad idea. Thought your scene selection overall could have been much better at the end specifically. Felt there was a lot more you could have shown us there but instead it just felt like boring clips just placed there to hit the beat, not because they had tons of thought behind them. Not a horrible Karas video though I guess, I'd give it a decent 2.7/5 and call it worth checking out.

The beginning and ending were the last parts I edited, actually; I tend to start somewhere in the middle of the song and just go from there, and I can totally see how that effected those parts. Personally, I'm still a little unhappy with the very end myself, but I wasn't quite sure how to fix it, and I'd just had a fight with Final Cut, so I decided to just let it go. I'm glad you still enjoyed it!Unlimited Rice wrote:I'll definitely have to keep this one. (Though the very start and very ending didn't pull through for me)
Yeah, there really wasn't any story here, and I'm not surprised that bugged some people. I was aiming for something that was at least fun to sit back and watch, and it's the first time in a while I've made something to mindless, as it were. It definitely wasn't all that unique, but it's awesome that you still liked it, in spite of the lack of story. : )Emong wrote:There wasn't much of a story involved whatsoever, which took something away from it. The scenes were almost randomly selected; I would listen to whichever part of the song I was on, try to imagine how the song was moving, and then find a clip that matched that. I wasn't really going for a story or anything, though that seems to have lost me some points with the audience, but hey. Quick mindless action fun was the goal, and I'm glad that worked for you. Also, you've got a good ear. The song I used was the Soul Caliber II theme song.gokussj527 wrote: Great action sync and timing, the scenes seemed a bit randomly selected, but there was a good impact with the beat sync...By the way, this song sounds familiar to me, it reminds me of Soul Caliber.![]()
Yay, awesome sync was what I was going for. It's true about the "interesting" moments, though, looking back on it. : )louipwns wrote:u had some pretty awesome sync even tho moments u chose were... "interesting".
Yeah, I've gotten a few comments on the video quality so far; it definitely could have been better, I just wasn't quite sure how else to fix it up. I hear enough about this that I'm seriously considering getting a PC if I ever can spare the money, just to use all those little programs to clean up the footage.-Reda- wrote:Relatively bad quality...Thought your scene selection overall could have been much better at the end specifically. Thanks!JudgeHolden wrote:Cool!
The lack of story really got some people, and it definitely wasn't anything that special, but I'm glad that you enjoyed the mindlessness all the same.meleechampion wrote:I'm just going to assume you made this to be a random action video, and while that sets the bar a little low, it's definitely something the video jumps over cleanly and without question.
