Definately have to agree with the others here, this is a big improvement from your first vid, which was awsm to begin with. I have to say my favorite segment was the fast edits starting at 2:00ish, damn hot stuff. Some really smooth internal sync, and lots of nice subtle things. Great pace, and definately something people should be getting : up :

Thanks Josh! And thanks sooo much for helping throughout the production of the videoSenshiMamoru wrote:Yesh! I loved the video, you really did a great job showing the romance between them (dunno their names tho but yea, the cool looking people). It was nice seeing this video progress, glad to see the final version. Nicely done

Yeah I'm not too sure what happened with the AR, but I must admit you did catch my ghetto photoshop jobPwolf wrote:nice job... two problems >.>
1) some parts looked squished like you resized them to fit the 16:92:1 (O.O) AR?
2) at around 2:52ish... did you put a fake mouth over jinto's mouth to hide lip flap?

Awsm, and that's cool you remembered!OropherZero wrote:hell yes i remember you telling me months ago that you were planning to make a banners AMV *gets*
That can be changed next time. I need some great, because I know ya got thatIleia wrote:Why didn't I get any betas? I am OFFENDED.
PS
That opening was pretty nifty.

Hating on my ghetto photoshop work shoooo. Don't get too emo over Lafiel and Jinto nowKalium wrote:The former shouldn't be an issue. Banner II and Banner III are in the same AR. I think it's the minor art differences that you're noticing.
I noticed the latter bit too. That could have been done a bit smoother. It's an improvement over a few of the blur-edited scenes in beta, though.
I've been waiting for this video, though. I'm quite happy to see it fully realized, even as the piano-key image makes me laugh.
Now, I think I'm going to cry myself to sleep. If you'll excuse me...

I'm so glad you liked it, Lock! You should try and go see the anime nowLockstocK wrote:zomg, finally ^_^

Edit: that was really really awesome, your editing has improved a lot since your last vid. I just love that u don't even have to of seen the anime to understand everything fine, that's really awesome structuring.

Prodigi, you're an amazing editor so hush. Glad you liked it!Prodigi wrote:You make me feel incompetent as an editor : \

Nice work!
Thanks a lot Aes! Mae is awesome, but the song in the video isn't really reflective of most of their tracks. You should check them out thoughaesling wrote:Nice! I wasn't crazy about the song at first, but it grew on me, and it was beautifully edited.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

The video is great. I'm a fan of CotS/BotS so it's nice seeing a video using the series. I love the mood and flow in this video.
I think people's issues with the picture stems from the odd resolution of the video. 712x350 isn't 16:9 (it's about 16:8), not to mention it isn't a mod16 resolution. I see a bit of stretching or squashing on certain scenes or images (look for moon, sun or planet shots). Sometimes if I force the video to 16:9 AR in Media Player Classic the scene looks OK, then it doesn't. Yeah, this is me being nit-picky. I do it quite often for videos that I really like.
