Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Not crossdressing, I mean the stereotypical weepy, whiny fragile uke who is basically all the worst female stereotypes rolled into a male character. Fans would hate them if they were girls, but nobody ever said fandom was logical. End digression.

Anyway. High-end compression says "I expect people to bend over backwards for my video! I'm JUST THAT IMPORTANT." It's an ambitious message to send. ;)

Newer compression has to be embrased at some point. It's not like this is the first AMV to be released with h.264, it's also becoming more popular with fansubs and piracy groups. It's the way things are moving and you might as well move with'em.

Plus, it looks much prettier than the DivX encode. :3

But that's the best kind of uke! T_T

I protest this video without actually watching it.

I'm curious, have you ever considered the many positive and varied benefits of actually learning how to edit?

Eventually people grow out of the "omgggggggggggggggggg girly bishiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!" phase, and if they don't then we come around and kill them.

Okay - the good news is that now my system plays mp4s properly. And overall the video is okay. It's not upbeat apart from that one part, but it's okay. The stage business is always fun.

The bad news is that random letterboxing and random lipflap are bad, but more importantly, I want to find whoever made that rave-infested remix and beat them with a crowbar. Euuugh. That song used to not suck. :?
