It's not so much that you
shouldn't use DBZ footage, its just that, well, there are so many bad ones that many people dont bother looking at them anymore. So when you say that this is your first video, people are going to unfortunatly not really going to pay much mind to it(Especially with the lack of thought when you made your first post). If you are set on doing it however, atleast put some effort into showing you care about it. In the description, WRITE a description. Just saying "Its new, give me comments", is gonna make people even more so not look at the video. Take pride in what you do, and do not take offense when people try and help you. What he said wasnt bad advice, you simply took it the wrong way. DBZ is wayyy overused, and out of all the videos using it, there are only a handful that are even
decent, and out of those there is even a
smaller amount that arn't just flat out action videos. The number one reason for this is that DBZ is probably the number one anime that causes people to be interested in AMVs. So basically you get A LOT of people whos first video is DBZ inspired. No matter how you look at it, that is just the flat out truth, he just is trying to help you not get lost in the numbers.
PS - That Fight Club DBZ video has been one of my favs for a long time
