Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I liked it but I gotta agree with some of the people here about the video quality and sound.

What kinda bugged me the most was some of the stray mouth movements and the lip sync wasn't exactly too tight.

Plus I would have recommended the xvid should be around 100-120 megs and it would still have been in the same quality.

Good stuff, although not perfect, it's alot of fun. :)

Hey Castor

Thank you for being really cool, as you always are. You know that I respect your opinion.

How about this though? What would you recommend for the next time around to make sure that we don't have the problems that we had this time.

Also did you get to see the commentary too? We included outtakes we did while we were doing the commentary.

I thought it would be funny to throw them into the credits.

Thats a wmv because we wanted the file size to be smaller.

Yeah I have to say Yoko's singing is well....interesting at best.

He totally caught me off gaurd during that outtake. "Maniac. Maniac." LOL

I think we had more audio footage of outtakes then actual commentary. LOL

Update:

After receiving numerous hatemail both on my regular email, hotmail account and posted on J&POnline we realize that Super Vid has been locked down on both J&POnline and Anime Werd.org.

We did not anticipate the amount of hits and downloads that the video would receive. We expected roughly about 200 and in return got well over a 1000! Thank you all for downloading the video and for your offering of comments.

After having been threatened that if we didn't produce a low res. version people would come and kill my dog, I spoke to other producers involved in the Super Vid project and have decided to lock down the 384mb copy of Super Vid until further notice. This has been on the advice of my webmaster who advised me that the bandwidth depletion is killing our server. Bart420 of Anime Werd has done the same due to the fact that the damn video MAXXED OUT our bandwidths. I have a 120gb of bandwidth on my server and it killed it. LOL

What we will do about it? Right now several encoders and myself are working on a special low res version of Super Vid that will be posted to a-m-v.org immediatly. We ar trying our best to create a low res. lower file size that will not distort sound quality or video quality that much. So far we have not been successful but we will produce this copy.

Until the video is posted, the high resolution versions will not be available for immediate download due to the amount of bandwidth that the video has taken up.

This has been a huge error on my part. As I said we did not anticipate the amount of hits we would get on it and for that I apoloize for any delays you may getting in receiving Super Vid. We are working on the problem and we will announce when the low res version is available for download.

Stay tuned for more information as I recieve it.

Best Regards

J
