Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Got it as well, watching it a few times and then reviewing.

Yea, I kind of miss the simple type videos... I watched the other night Marc's Captain Nemo video to Nadia... done on two VCRs with simple vuts and yet a very powerfull video.... Something I think we are getting too caught up in special effects and beat matching way too much...Seems to be the trend now...

I agree, but at the same time it maybe because that's the way I edit since I am incapable of using a lot of effects :). I"m biased :). However, at the same time, effects can be used effectively...just wanted to state since I don't wanna sound like there's "one way" to edit or whatever.

Either way, I liked it a lot in a "Memories Dance" sort of way.

(nod nod) was just re-iterating it with this recent frenzy to wanna use a ton of effects. I think a lot of people need to take a look at this video. It shows that you can do something very powerful and emotional by just using the music effectively and scene selection.
