The title sounded really familiar, then I saw the source and I was like OHHH kay I got it now. This was really good. I started watching the new season and this makes me want to finish it. There aren't enough Mushi-Shi vids out there

I didn't want to keep bumping this to the top, but since it's already here I wanted to say thanks again. I think it's safe to say now that I didn't expect this many responses (is Yue still responsible). I'm glad so many people are able to enjoy it, fans of the show or not.

Doesn't help me understand Mushishi any more than what I've seen of it previously

Thank you! One-Eyed Fish was one of the first Mushishi AMVs I ever saw and it remains one of my favourites (and the closest a video has ever come in regards to the above comment), so that means a lot.

This AMV probably strikes many of the aesthetic chords that the footage provides so well in a absolutely fitting way.
Next to that, the increasingly dark tone despite the lasting simplicity stood out for me. I don't know any of the stuff you made before, but I have quite the amount of respect for this video now.

Oh btw certain episodes of Mushishi are absolute masterpieces, Koopiskeva.
