I agree. Ippo is a great source to work with. I've got some more ideas floating around as I've hinted to in the credits. I was really going for simple sync and style letting the footage speak for itself. I'm a fan for internal sync myself so I try to do it whenever possible.

Glad you enjoyed it. Seriously, when I finished adding in the audio and subtitles at the end I was watching and I just got chills down my spine. I don't know if you noticed it, but the characters are singing their lines. Even I melt when I hear that.

I would have never naturally put these two sources together, but that worked insanely well.

I think the scenes with the boxing matches might have been better edited, but ITS IPPO FOR GAWDS SAKE, THE AWESOME CANNOT BE BEATEN. xD

I'm not entirely sure how 'better' I could edit that. Sure, I could add more external sync and perhaps make the match feel more fast paced. But I think in doing so you loose the ultra-focused feeling of being right there in the action along with everyone watching the fight, holding your breath wondering if Datte will win.

Though I will also say, I didn't expect these two sources to work with each other either. Seriously, first words out of my mouth when I heard the song were, "Fuck you Joey." I was about to throw in the towel but then I heard Silk_SK say the same thing.
