Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'm J.E.L. ("Jonnus Ephelus Lazus" but also known as "Johnny") and I'm sorta a newbie here at a-m-v.org.

I've uploaded about 5 AMVs that but for some reason only 3 worked correctly for the server but the other two has problem with the link and I wish that you all could view and give me some advice (if any) on how I should improve it.

Here are my AMV's starting from my earliest work to my later.

1. FFVII: AC (My first AMV done in Windows Movie Maker)

2.GunGrave

3.Air Gear (My first lip-sync AMV)[/url] 8-)

Please correct your links to link to the video profile, not the download themselves.

Okay, I watched Air Gear.

I think the concept was good. It appears as though the series does match the song. However, I feel that lip synch and subtitles were really unnecessary. I liked some of your editing synch and definitely felt some of your scene choices went well. Your visual quality was horrible. If you must use WMV at least use the highest settings you can. I would rather have a large download than a crappier quality. I give it maybe six out of ten, you had some effects that made it slightly better than average, but you still have a long way to go. This isn't skating by with a C letter grade though. Most videos on the Org are... not okay. So "average" is brought way down.
