Haha, yes, I was going to mention that, specifically those times when there is a random explosion of multi-colored squares or line of them at the bottom. I thought it was pretty good. I liked the beginning the most, really flowed together. I think at the parts right after where it says "Fasten your seatbelt" the video could have "exploded" into action more, and some of the scenes went a bit long. I'm pretty inexperienced though (only made one, in terms of "mistakes" I think we both made the same ones

) so my opinion might not count for much, heh

Yup exactly the problems i see.
I need to rerip my dvd to get rid of the coloured squares.
I tried explode after fasten your seatbelt, but the sections of the song go on so long that i have to stretch the action out. I could edit the track i suppose.

one way to "guarantee" replies is to do opinion exchanges (try responding to a few threads in that forum)

tips:
1. disable the DIVX logo
2. beware of lipflap... dont let their mouths run too long
3. could use more beatsync/action sync: some points were really well done, like the beginning was neat... and the part with the shot down the barrel the scenes with the church... but some parts died like when the two guys were just standing there talking at trunk of the car.. O.o, this is the kind of song you wanna use to exploit all the pretties of the anime... (fight sequences, neat animations, just stuff that looks good/neat)

i don't think people should be that harsh for freshcomers...

but to tell the true me too really hates watemarks...

harsh? trust me, this is far from "harsh"

its just advice, if they dont want to take it, then they dont have to O.o no stress, in the end its your video, and if you like it thats what matters...

plus i did say the parts i DID like along with things i thought could use improvement... (thats called constructive critisim)

the "DIVX logo" is one of the more common "mistakes" new comers make, mostly because they dont realize its there... best thing to do is to just turn it off all together... (or dont edit using DIVX encoded files)

also, i didnt say anything flaming or rude, the vid is interesting, and worth a watch...

I agree with jaddzia. I like constructive criticism

DivX logo shall die once i remake this to .org standards, which'll sort the artefacts also hopefully.

The car trunk bit has far too much lip flapping and so do 2 other bits. I tried to use non but it wasn't possible for what i wanted. The car trunk closing to the tune going up a notch was my aim but i slowed it too much, needs reworking.
