Well, it depends on where you get it and who makes it. 'Canadian bacon' or 'Back bacon' is somewhat ham-like due to the leaner cut of pork used (from the back of the pig) compared to what most Americans eat, which is 'Streaky bacon' (from the belly of the pig). It is also cured a bit differently, so the taste is not very similar. If you've eaten the more common bacon in the UK or what the English call 'Danish bacon', you've consumed something very close to 'Canadian bacon'.

How does this post relate to the video? Like eating too much bacon, watching this video too much will make you fat and unhealthy (after the seizures and resultant brain damage). But it sure is tasty.
