I've just posted my third amv. Like my previous two efforts it is a piece by experimental jazz composer and band leader Sun Ra, with footage from Galaxy Express 999 (the 1979 movie). My last video, Plutonian Nights, has had over 10,000 hits on you tube, but not very many on here, so I am posting in the main forum in hopes of getting some new viewers.
Here is the link: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=133817
This is probably not like most of the other amvs being made today: the music and animation tracks have a combined age of 71 years, its all instrumental, and while I've reached the effect I sought with editing, the image quality suffers.
I would greatly appreciate comments, but ask you to please keep an open mind when viewing this.

Cool. No, seriously, I think that had every right to be made - the age of the sources was a plus to be sure, and for all its simplicity, the use of those little repeating loops of footage was quirky and appropriately... out there. I'm not familiar with the source, but I enjoyed that.
The video quality is what concerns me here. It's tolerable for the most part - if only that artefacting was less obvious; but there's a big AMV-ing no-no it commits with the DivX logo. Do get rid of that next time at the least; ideally, though, eschew the use of compressed sources altogether.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
