Dude, that was awesome.
It was an original approach to Akira (one of my favourite animes), this was mainly due to the fact that the song was sung about Tetsuo and not from the point of view of Tetsuo. Apart from this, the song also gives a very psychotic feeling to the vid. A very good choice in music.
You did an excellent job in scene choice. Although I thought, what you call, the "Sex and drugs and complications part" was a bit literal, at first. After reading your info page again, I understood it better.
What I thought really stole the show was the pacing and the effects, which were executed perfectly. The build up, that was actually non-stop throughout the whole song, made me feel like I was the one going out of my mind. The effects made this even more powerful, but I'm glad you didn't do more, this was just enough.
My favourite part of the vid was 2:16. It seemed like the child inside Tetsuo was calling out for help as he loses control.
I'm not one to give critiques about technical issues or precies editing. Idea and link between song and video are important to me. There you scored high.
A fantastic vid. I'll be looking into more of your works and look forward to your next one.

Wow thanks for your comments
I didn't know how people would react to a amv that uses meds by placebo because no one has done that so far. I'm glad that there are people who like the result and very happy that there are also some who read the video's profile
