Straight from Amecon 2006, my entry to their competitive AMV competition!

I managed to walk away with "best comedy" for this one, which I was very happy about, since there were some really funny other AMVs entered O_O ! I was really shocked, especially after seeing the others!
So with that, hopefully you'll find it at least a little bit entertaining..

Well... I tried it... I didn't find it overly funny but it does have its merits. The lip sync was quite accurate and deserving phrase. Ultimately it's well edited, but didn't entertain me that much.

Oooh! And 3ivX? Wow, you don't see very many of those around the place...

I think this would be better if I was more familiar with the audio source. I've only seen Hunchback of Notre Dame once. The lipsync was pretty good and the video quality was nice. Editing was good, except for a spot in the beginning, unless my player lagged.

@Infinity Squared: Thanks for the plus points! The lipsync was surprisingly easy, too

I guess it's just my strange sense of humour that makes the video - not many other people seemed to laugh on it's showing either.

Also, I tried compressing the sound, but it ruined the quality and didn't change the filesize too much so I let it be for now. I'll probably play around with it later though and release a smaller version of the file in the future though, since it is disturbingly big for such a short video..

@Willen: I guess you need to watch it a few times to get it, or know both the song and series in advance, really.

A few other people didn't get it at the con because they hadn't heard the song or seen the series so there was a bit of delayed laughter there

Also, which bit seemed to lag? o_o Which player are you using?

Actually I experienced this lag as well. I thought it was just some problem with the 3ivX codec used at some point, though if you're saying that you saw it too, it's possible that it's something inherent in the video? I dunno... anyway, for your information, I viewed this with Media Player Classic, ffdshow is enabled, all codecs running from CCCP.
