Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

For reference, the video entry pages use HTML rather than BBCode.

Thanks, Kalium. That wasn't very clear to me.

Oh, and Orwell--you were asking about my other two videos that I don't have for download yet. "Grey the Veteran" will probably be uploaded soon, but it will be an ancient VHS copy. I'd imagine legit VHS copies of Grey: Digital Target are as scarce as hen's teeth and I don't know if it was ever put to DVD.

"Shiro Learns to Fly" will be remastered using my legit VHS copy of the dub--I've heard, probably not as a joke, that the VHS transfer is as good, if not better, than the DVD.

I've also gotten Arcadia of My Youth off my Netflix queue so now I'll be able to remaster "Send Maya My Love" too! But perhaps most importantly, "Nausicaa the Reluctant Warrior" will get remastered as well.

To answer one of the quick comments I've received:
Love what you did with the text yet I didnt find the clips too relivent. yet for an opening it was nice.
The clips are certainly relevant in the sense that they were picked to as closely match their live-action counterparts as much as possible: a pointed pistol, a galloping horse, a character dangling from a rope.

I'm going to upload that side-by-side comparison to one of the public video sites like youtube.com in an effort to show how closely things match.

The comparison is now up on Youuuutuuuube.

Also tossed "Big Damn Cowboys" up there too, if anyone wants to share it with a non-member..
