  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

First, give it a song, I'd suggest going here. Second, upload the thing. If you need help doing that go here. I don't think you need the other page, you at least have it entered into the catalog.

I'd suggest reading this to find a better editing program. I'd say premiere if you can afford it/find it or, from what I understand Magix isn't bad for the cheaper price range.

Try to avoid fansubs as much as you can, or at least use letterboxing to cut off the subs. Sometimes you can't do that though as you'll miss what your after, so either Photoshop or Gimp could help with correcting that. I'd also suggest doing some clean up, maybe give this a look through. If you have any questions ask in the appropriate section when your stuck.

As far as editing goes, this might be worth a look. The flashing lights around 30 seconds into it probably should have been synced to beats in the music. Nothing really seemed coherent, it was just plain lyric syncing without any real reasoning. If you had carried a story along, or at least stuck to a central, more developed theme instead of just showing butterflies this would have made more sense. Subtitles might been a viable choice to portray your story in this, giving some justification to just direct lyric sync while they carry on some of the story, though the scene selection should have at least some coherence.

I'd actually like to see a improved remake of this some time, its a good concept, just the implementation didn't work out. Good luck with the next one.
