I finally have a link for Outlaws Don't Stop (Remake) since it can't be hosted here on the org. I have given the link to some creators to take a look at it. I've been meaning to post it here. Well let me know what you guys think if you haven't already. If you guys want to compare the two the link of the original is also available.
The original Outlaws Don't Stop was dedicated to my grandfather when he passed away. It was sorta my way of dealing with the pain. I wanted to deliver the message out there thatterrible things happended, but we have to move on. You know the person that passed away wouldn't want you to be miserable.
Then this past June my grandmother passed away. I was close to both of my grandparents. It seemed like she was going to do oh right and she was recovering from the cancer she had so we went back home and suddenly it got worse. As we got home from West Virigina we got a call from the Hospice saying she was dying. We were going to rush back up there but she would be gone by the time we got up there. I just talked to her the night before, it is just unbelievable a person with that much fighting spirit could live on that long. She fought that cancer for over 2 years. So after the funeral and coming home I just wanted to shut down, but my good friend Cory was there to keep me company and asked me if I would like to remaster Outlaws Don't Stop to dedicated to both of my grandparents. So I did. This was an emotional project to work on.
I hope you guys enjoy it.

Finally some deeper lyric synch instead of the usual eye-candy! Remember that I have not seen the original, so to be honest, I wasn't expecting much from you. The lyrics however blew that assumption away once I followed them more carefully. One could assume you'd be using the story in your comments to create something out of absolutely nothing, but I'm glad you managed to use the lyrics so well. Outlaw Star seemed like such a bad anime choice for this kind of message, so that surprised me as well how well it actually worked. I believe I understand what you were aiming for with the lyric synch.
Technically it wasn't so impressive though. The output quality is a little below average and the masking at the end looks clumsy because of it. Especially the outlines on many scenes have come out bad. If you used DVDs as your source footage, I wouldn't know why the quality suffered these small flaws.
I wish people would make more of this kind of anime music videos, instead of focusing so much the fancy visual aspect. There's nothing wrong in effect/visually appealing videos, but I for one seek elements that are not completely visual. This anime music video is a nice example, even though it has some minor technical flaws concerning the general quality of the video.

Thanks for your comments. Well the original file which is over 3 GB I had a hard time compressing. Went into TMPEG and it would throw off the timing because I had the credits. Then I removed the credits from it and timing seems to be fine. However I couldn't get it to compress to below a 100 MB. Then I went into Virtual Dub and that didn't work right either. So I had to use a divX compressor and hope for the best.
