I thought it was good for a first video. You did a good job hitting key beats and maintaining the mood of the video in your selection of clips.

A few things to work on:

The video quality was pretty bad in parts and there were interlacing issues in spots. Hopefully Phil can help you out with that stuff.
Maybe it is because I overuse the damn things but this video could use some crossfades, pans, and zooms to help the flow of the video.
Regarding flow I think some scenes dragged on too long. This isn't to say they should change quicker but rather there could simply be more going on. For example: the scene where he is reading the letter (00:34 to 00:42) you could flash in and out some video relevant to the lyrics on top of that scene with some masks.

I'm not sure what program you are using so I don't know how helpful that advice is but perhaps Phil can help you out there too.

Wow! That was really good! I do agree with some of the things that Corran said, but I still liked it a lot!
