This is the battle between Vash and knives. The music is from the Kill Bill 2 soundtrack called malguena salerosa. I used windows movie maker 2 to make this vid. I think its pretty good. I aimed for timing and emotion. Please tell me what you think thanks!!!

I am not too sure that the music fits the vid, it's a good attempt but it's not something I am going to keep. your timing is good for a beginer, but it could definalty use ALOT of improvement. if you have any sort of audio editing software, take a look at your soundtrack before using, it. you can get a good feel for where the musics beats are based on the sin waves. and another thing....WMM2...try your best to aviod it if at all possible. if you can afford to, get a decent Video editing software system that had multi-layer editing. Windows media player makes it very difficult to edit properly because of it's linear nature. that and nbo matter how good your source, it will always come out poor quality compressed. Adobe premeire is the way to go if your rich, but Pinnacle Studios is a cheap (at least last time I checked) software suite at only $100.

Sorry to have to say this but you're full of it, WMM2 is the perfect place to start editing AMVs if you can't do any better, most beginners find multi-track editors too complex, and get bogged down in having so many features they don't know what to do with themselves, it is a well known fact that some of the best vids on the site have been made with WMM and if Arigatoumina or Michele catch you saying it's no good they'll have you for breakfast, furthermore: it is perfectly possible to get DVD quality out of WMM/2, you just have to know what you're doing, to this end there have been at least two guides written on the subject: part of EADFAG, and Scintilla's Scintilla's Guide to Preparing DVD Footage for Windows Movie Maker 2. Now, don't ever let me see you making such an uninformed, arrogant statement again.asrrin29 wrote:WMM2...try your best to aviod it if at all possible. if you can afford to, get a decent Video editing software system that had multi-layer editing. well excuse me! it has been quite awhile since I have used WMM2, and last time I checked it was not a good platform to use. maybe it's become better, in which case I apologize. the simple point of my argument however, is that for the newbie, multi-track editing is by and far easier to learn and use. you don't have to worry about calculating at which one clip ends and another begins to make it "all fit." when I took a video production class in highschool they gave us the choice of using single or multi-track editing, and knowing nothing about editing I tried both and found multi-track to my liking, as did most of the rest of the class. Therefore I base my opinion on personal experience.
Now maybe you are right about there being an overwhelming number of features in certain programs, but if you have enough self-restraint yhou can focus on only using the basics to accomplish your goal. and as I said, Pinnacle Studios is a very begginer oriented piece of software with enough oomph to get the job done.
And I apologize for not knowing about those guides. I check the guides section infrequently at best and both of these look new to me, so maybe someone finally found a way to get DVD quality compression out of WMM2, but my point still remains that for someone who is a "newbie" making AMV's but has at least a little technical expertise they will find it much easier to use an editor that is at least a step up from WMM2.

well i have to say thx i think lol. i chose to create this amv with this song because of the fact that it is in another language. It makes the viewer concentrate more on what they are watching and the emotion that comes with it. Plus i really like this song lol. but by the way WMM2 is pretty decent i have limited experience with amv making. I currently have the Video editing software called ULEAD and its version 8, but with all of the ULEAD versions there has been EXTREME amounts of lag and if any experts would like to tell me how to fix this i will be ssssssoooooooooo happy. And ummmmm did anyone even like the vid. I accept all critism and wether good or bad i thank all of those who have taken the time to post already im workin on a new one right now and im hopin it will be much better. thx
