Let it be - X(TV)

Anime: X(TV)
Song: Let it be - Beatles

WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS TO X(TV)

The idea for this video was born during a conversation with my mother. I'm going through a terrible period of illness, and on top of that I got some problems at my eyes, so for a week I could do almost nothing but listen to music. I was listening to my Beatles album and to Let It Be, when we started talking about the meaning of the lyrics. I told her that "Mother Mary" wasn't the Holy Virgin, but Paul's mom, and she replied "So, it's more or less like Kamui's mom, isn't it?". Bang!! That moment, images started rushing through my mind, and I started working on this video. When I could finally use my eyes again, I sat in front of my pc and tried to make that project real...

Besides all this nonsense, the video evolves around Kamui (after all this Subaru/Seishirou, he needed a video too!). I tried to focus on his "destiny": the intro tells the story of the KAMUI, then we have memories of childhood, his mother's death, his meeting with the other Seals, and of course, his meeting with Subaru. For the instrumental part, I preferred to focus on the first episode, as it's the Start. Kamui comes back to Tokyo, tries to take the Shinken, meets Saiki and Arashi. Then, we have the End, which is more or less another kind of Start: Kamui's sacrifice saves the world, where all his friends can start a new life thanks to him.

So, I hope you'll like it. I know it's "Let it Be", I know it's "Beatles", and so on... take it for what it is, just my personal interpretation of this song in a amv, and enjoy it! :)
