Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

although sometimes it is possible like when there's a scene with the exact same buttom(normally just before they start showing the subtitles) and you can add it to the scene with the subtitles and put it over the buttom.
i think you could probably do that through avisynth right?
Yes.

Firstly,I am "he" :D My name is Themis.Nice to meet you!!

Now,to clear the misunderstanding, when I said "crop scenes" I meant the simple cut between scenes. Not croppping a part of the screen, the bottom or whatever.
Yes,I know that it was silly of me to suppose this as "crop scenes" but I have never used any different program except Movie Maker(well,I have Adobe Premiere 6.0 but it's a bit difficult to use).

Thanks for all the information as well as for the link.I'll see what I can do.
Probably,I'll start using VirtualDub after I finish the music video I'm currently working in.

Ah,since I remembered it,SnhKnives, your Rahxephon music video(song:Iris) was awesome.I downloaded it recently and I felt worthless watching it and comparing it with the ones I make :)

Well, after all this discussion about subtitles, the reason behind this thread was to announce my amv and to get comments about this,to tell me my mistakes(as I am amateur at video editing) and propose me any ways to make better amvs.
I don't beg for opinions,I just want to become better at making amvs.

Instead, this thread has been transformed to a general discussion about programs that can crop subtitles. :(
I mentioned about subtitles because it was one of the difficult parts of the whole process. But,after downloading VirtualDub,I realised that for my occasion it's better just to crop the scenes with subtitles.I have already made 7 music videos with this method and it doesn't matter anymore.
