my best video: hellsing/breathe

Post by Alternababe » Tue Mar 08, 2005 6:05 pm

Hellsing/Breathe

I have made some less-than-impressive videos in the past, so I really wanted to make something worth watching. This achieves that goal.

I worked hard to make this the highest quality I have made so far, and the only completed one with dvd footage. If only the org would let me upload the full-quality 1.83gb dv file.....*sigh*

Anyway, the video is a mostly instrumental one. The idea was born one day a year ago while watching the eva/breathe video. I think this is as good as that one, if not better.

Mostly, I was going for a video that had things happen to the beats and musical changes in the song. Full notes & download info here:

Please take the time to watch it ':D'
I hope most people enjoy this, 'cuz I really did enjoy making it.

That's good, I enjoyed watching it too.
I'll try to leave an op when I get a chance.

Some of your scene selection didn't seem too hot, and the use of the footage you got didn't seem to well either. I noticed some nice key timing here and there, and you did a pretty good job with the quality other than the interlacing aspect. Over all not that bad. 3/5

I get the impression you liked it overall, at least more than you didn't like it. :) Could you please explain a little more what you didn't like about the footage?
