Song: I'll Take The Rain by R.E.M.
This is my first version of this video. As i absolutely adore this song, I'm sure I'll have some other versions of this video in the future... anyway, this one is also a gift for a friend!
This song was incredibly difficult to be put in an amv... it's complex and metaphorical... there are lots of meanings that you can give to the word "rain"! To understand why I chose some clips, you must have read Tokyo Babylon. Otherwise, it won't make any sense. Sorry, but I adore that manga, and it's the main theme during all the video. Besides that, there are huge spoilers from episode 16 of X. You have been warned!
All the video evolves around Subaru and his memories of Seishiro: how they were friend, how Seishiro took care of him, and how Subaru fell in love with him, only to feel betrayed. Hokuto's assassination, of course, takes a lot of space in it! It has absolutely no chronological order, I tried to recreate how memories work, how they are all confused in one's mind.
Just a warning: I had to cut a lttle piece of this song: I didn't want to repeat the clips or put a long pointless fight scene to fill in and make a boring video...
