Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

By the way, it's true that you'll learn more from your failure than from your success, but I think this video is a success, not a failure!

Then that's what matters. It's just that nowadays it's hard to make a video that lots of people like if it doesn't have intense or seamless editing and flashy effects and whatnot. Don't let it change your style; just perfect what you can do.

Thanks a lot for your words, Flint! I always repeat that my best video is my next video! And I don't want to change my style, I like it because it's my personal way to tell what I feel through my videos. I'm happy if people like my videos, but I don't care if they don't like them! But I'll surely perfect what I do! :D

Don't get me wrong. I prefer videos that have smooth editing as opposed to flashy effects. A video thats full of effects for no reason is a failure in my eyes if the video doesn't go well..

Heck look at any of my videos and you'll notice that I avoid flashy effects as much as possible. I just think the music match attempt at the begining is incredibly off... and the rest fo the video is hit or miss. Missing alot of beats for simple things like clip and view changes.

Hey, maybe, maybe you didn't like my video, isn't it? Joking aside, why don't you just delete it and forget it was ever done? I always do it, when I don't like a video!

Great Concept !!!

The idea is great (I wanted to use the song for RoLW though) but the editing is really not so good, you wrote it´s about storytelling, then I suggest the use of more text sync, in some parts you made use of it in others not maybe you should improve that in cases of sync. It would have been an easy task to concentrate the sync on the lyrics.

By the way the sync of the beginning was also a nice idea I liked that most, altough there are just guitars and no violin, but who cares :D.

And no, I won´t complain about the quality, my videos don´t look better ...

3/5
