but oddly enough, you're editing is actually getting betterJanzki wrote:4 videos in 4 days? You need to revise your marketing strategy![]()
i didn't notice any major timing errors til android 18 kicked Vegeta's arm in in the beginning, and this was clearly ATTEMPTED to sync, it just didn't work out as well as some or ur other syncing
i will say that i saw a LOT more RELAVANCE between ur video clips and ur audio, a lot of them went together, and some that weren't even suppose to be together still fit nicely
example:
vegeta screaming Kakarotto!! went very well with vegeta becoming super saiyan and the timing with the scream was good... except that vegeta keeps screaming after the audio scream is over, but the frame changed so i'll give you that much
vegetto picking up super buu with an energy spear didn't really match what was happening, in reality, that sound effect was really just someone in super saiyan mode, but this still worked fairly nicely because you timed the sound with the energy spear that made super buu into shiskabob (sp?)
but goku screaming kamehameha while vegetto tosses super buu is one of many that just did NOT fit in any way or form... much like most of the sound effects from 1:23-1:51, as for what vegeta screams during his sacrifice, i don't know japanese, so it COULD have been something relavant, so i won't count it against you
0:00-0:13 was probably some of the best editing i've seen you do.
you had action syncing with the beat, and you also had syncing with the cuts between scenes, i think you just kinda lost it a bit after that kick, it was still not that bad up to 0:28, but once you got to that DBGT clip, it was just not working anymore for me, i think that may have been a point where you needed to take a break from editing (like a day or two) and come back with fresh energy to edit the way you did in the beginning
more examples of good scene selection, i guess so you know what kinds of things to try for in the future... though i pray you don't try to match sound effects until you get good at regular musik... and i'd wish you'd choose EASIER songs to make vids with, LP plays loud and complicated music... muscially, and remixes/dance songs are always a challenge
0:45-0:56this was very good editing with the background musik, but you completely ignored the 'kai-o-ken' in the background dialogue
1:14-1:16gohan screaming the dialogue worked well
2:37-2:50was good scene selection because of gotenks's cockiness, and the master roshi laugh was well synced, but you really should have synced gotenks laughing... and if it didn't have him laughing... you shouldn't have chosen that clip

last thing, i'm sure showbiz was fun.. but you really did go overboard with the speeding up of clips, just because a video is fast does NOT make that video better, if anything, it makes it harder to work with and it makes you think that there is better timing than there really is, it may keep the viewers attention for a longer time, but then the viewer isn't watching ur video anymore, they're just watching the pretty colors going by at incredible speeds
i say do us and mainly yourself a favor and start a video whenever you want but edit with it for a full week, or at least 3 or 4 days out of that week, but don't release it until you've edited it a couple of times so that you're happy with it and you feel that the scenes match the music AND the lyrics to the best of your ability
with how you're progressing through these quick vids, i think you'll learn a LOT more if you take your time and make 1 really good video instead of a bunch of average ones
