Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Japanese fans do that a lot. I have several dozen of them.

AHH, I hate not having an internet connection. I'm using the school library and they don't have any video codecs. I'm very angry...I cannot download them either, because that would beinterpretted as a threat to security (not like our network is really that secure, last week my entire dorm was infected by sasser and gaobots!) I wish i could see this, alas, I'll have to wait until there is a large amount of videos I want to see, so I can burn them to disk and take them home with me...<sigh> what a shame!

Question - did you intentionally leave out the Gainax credits for the contest version? That struck me as odd when I was watching it at ACen. I'm glad you have them in the d/lable version.

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

Yes, I asked SailorDeath about it, and he told me to leave them out.

Oh! Somebody at our anime club showed an amv similar to this. It was the Cowboy Bebop opening using Azumanga Daioh. Very funny stuff.

I like this amv better though. It's a lot more elegant and fine-tuned. :D

I actually thought of doing one... but this video is so much more well-done than anything along those lines I could try at the present time... that it won't happen.
Dazzamn, now I feel guilty.
don't... It probably wouldn't have happed anyway... lack of footage, of the song, of editing skills and a good program, and patience, and money to buy the things on that list that money can buy.

Brilliant!

It actually looks just as good as the real thing, and you chose proper scenes to represent the beebop ones. great job on your editing.:D
