This is the first in a string (one can always hope) of videos that will focus on unique music ... the idea is that people are likely to be more emotionally receptive on their first exposure. I'm starting off with off-beat pop artists, but soon I hope to venture into the realm of hard improv jazz, operas, 19th century tone poems and 20th century art songs. I admit that I'm also doing this is in part to see what reactions I can get from the community to the music itself -- for instance, not many of us are hardcore opera fans, but I think that given the right environment, dramatic arias like Canio's from Pagliacci can make just about anybody cry (or laugh, depending on how callous y'are).
So, uh ... five-fingered slaps? Gentle reminders? Thanks in advance for the constructive criticism.
