It's a Boy!

Post by Charagon » Sun Mar 07, 2004 6:12 am

Heero In The End was delivered at 5:00 a.m. CST on March 7th, 2004.
He weighs 33.0 MB and is 3 min 46 sec long.

I've finally finished my first real AMV. :D

This isn't the first video I've made, but I hardly think that FFVIII clips (some of which coming from other music videos) put together in Window Movie Maker counts.

This is my first video made entirely from scratch using actual DVD footage and all the nifty programs and gigs worth of clips and all that jazz.

Heero In The End (don't make me tell you what what song I used) has been floating around in my head for years (I only recently got the computer power to make it) and now it's done! It really doesn't seem real after thinking about it for so long.

Now I need a place to host it. :?

Heh heh. Cute.

Yeah, I know. I'm going to do that now. It's just that at 5:00 a.m. I was too tired to try and figure out what my FTP address was supposed to be.

Is it possible to die from sarcasam?

Charagon - I was pleasantly surprised. The vid was good quality and had some hilarious lyrics syncing, especially in the beginning. I was laughing out loud at a number of them.

The videos problems are that it has a very overused song, so your going to have trouble getting unbiased people to watch it. Also the song doesn't really fit the relationship between heero and relena so the video doesn't really make sense overall. The last problem is that in the second half it moves away from the lyric matching and more to fighting and explosions which is something you want to avoid. If you had kept the same level throughout the vid as you did from 0:23 to 1:00 and to a lesser extent, to 1:36, I would have praised it as an excellent parody. Again the lyric matching was very well done and I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

If so, I think I would have killed off most of the Org by now. :?

I'm with you about the lyric matching in the last half of the song. My clips just refused to cooperate with me. :(

The song isn't really supposed to fit the relationship between Relena and Heero, she just kept popping up in the scenes I wanted to use. I was going for more a "you did all this stuff and look where it got you" concept.

Yes, it's an overused song, but this video was more just to get it out of my system, (and a way to learn the how to's of AMV making) then anything else.

Thank you very much for your opinion.
