its not alright
I started this video sometime in 2022, but put it on hold when I was about 75% done. Two years later.. I needed something heavy and angry to vent my own personal frustrations with the state of the world, so I resurrected this project. I wanted to match the distorted guitars and vocals with some equally distorted visuals, so this turned into something where I could experiment with effects. I mainly played around with layering multiple video tracks and opacity types, and added some noise effects. Didn't really know what I was doing, just kept messing around with whatever Adobe Premiere had until it looked right.

Technically finished this video back in October, but because of the nature of the Accolades contest I wasn't able to upload it until mid-December.

No place like Homura
& Semosh
This vid was a collaboration between me and Semosh for an IC called DynamIC Duos (led by hilovids) where editors were paired with someone of opposite tastes (as per the questionnaire we filled out). Our theme was 'opposites' and Semosh suggested this perfect mashup of Taylor Swift and Nine Inch Nails. We considered a bunch of possible 'opposites' but we concluded Madoka/Homura-Sayaka/Kyousuke would work the best for the song. We had about a month to edit but because of major real-life things going on in both our lives neither of us had much time to work on it. Despite all that I think our video turned out great! Also Semosh is a really cool guy and it was an honor to have collaborated with him
冬 WINTER
Earlier this year I made the decision to edit a video for each season, all with the same anime (Ochibi-san) and artist (Snail's House). I was able to achieve that goal with this final video!
