I got the idea to edit a video for new Year's Day back in September, and up until a couple weeks ago it was going to be a totally different kind of vid.. and then TheLazyDaze had to upload a really good Children of the Sea amv that inspired me to make this video. I'm glad I went with this because my other vid was going to be really dark, and I would much rather start the year on a lighter note

This song is mythical, Gladiator is one of my favorite movies of my life, I really loved this musical selection. Now, about the AMV, it is smooth, it has subtle and hopeful editing (in the first half), but, after 1:50 everything becomes epic and beautiful, i love that. This will be a good year, happy new bru!!

Of all the emotions that I personally try to capture in amvs, hope and joy have been some of the hardest for me personally. So to see you succeed so well at it here fills me with, uh, well, hope and joy! I couldn't imagine a better way to start the year and imagine I'll be coming back to this many times in 2022.

Very pretty. Very cool. I have no idea what I'm watching but I always like it when an edit I have zero context for stands on its own this well. The motif of effects feels consistent and reenforces how well the sound of the music is so fitting for these visuals. Nice pacing. All in all I don't have a lot to say about this one but it's very enjoyable.
