I still haven't seen FMA, but you did a great job at putting the story together and editing the video so that everything made sense.

Thanks! FMA is certainly worth taking the time to watch, although this AMV did spoil a large amount of itkireblue wrote:I still haven't seen FMA, but you did a great job at putting the story together and editing the video so that everything made sense.

Re: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Leave Me Burning
I finished this series 2 days ago and this is the first Brotherhood video I've ever watched. No pressure!
Good blend of drama and sentiment and a good re-cap of the series. This style of video usually isn't my cup of tea -- there's no room here to explain what I mean by that, trust me -- but this is surely a keeper. Perhaps not the most original approach but no one wants an experimental deconstruction of this show, they came for the story and the characters and you kept this AMV focused on those most effectively.
Comparing it to your other FMA:B video (which I hadn't seen before but watched just now), this is a lot more polished and just flows better.

I'm glad you thought that it was a good blend, since this was my first video that I had veered to focusing on drama versus action, and I was unsure as to how well I would manage to execute it.
Thanks for the nice comments, and yeah I definitely agree with you in regards to my earlier video. It suffered a fair bit from my inexperience in editing at the time, but the feedback I got on it and the videos that I produced in-between helped me to improve a lot for my second FMA:B video.
