Yeah, I kinda agree. The whole video was to experiment with new ideas like light bleeds, and make a cute romance You should've seen how awful it looked before I revised it 50 times. Haha Thanks!

Why is there no preview option for this?

Overall, I actually liked the effects. The little animated doodles at 0:36 were cool and although I'm sick to death of seeing that in every other music video and commercial for the past few years, I'd love to see what you might do with it in a full-length AMV where you'd really explore what that could do. The text at 0:27 was unnecessary, emphasized what could be the least important word in all of the lyrics, and felt out of place since it never showed up again. That's the kind of thing that leaves me feeling like I just watched a video that was just an editor "trying stuff" or whatever. And that sucks because I really did like this and everything else here feels like a finished and thought-out video and that part drags it down into something else altogether (it doesn't completely nor does it ruin the whole AMV but I'm just saying).

Would love to see a full-length version of this video using this song and yet I know that's probably impossible given the source (doubtful that there's any more clips of these two together that you didn't use here), which sucks because I wasn't expecting these sources to work together and yet you made me feel like they were meant to be.

That was the issue, it was intended as a full length amv, with those effects recurring throughout, then I was like, well gee. Not enough source footage to even finish it. So those effects that had already been put in like the text and doodle, were only done once when originally it was going to be the entire video. So I was trying stuff out, but it was supposed to be a full length amv rather than a short video that resembles a reel. (the editing in this video for the first minute was from a year ago, so it's not 100% on par with what I'm making today, and I reworked a TON of it to make it look nicer and reflect more of today. The scribbling of the text was incredibly experimental and I should've avoided it entirely, and the doodles were inspired from the amv 'Fleeting' where I kind of got inspired to do the little doodle of the sun and stuff because of the art and drawings that are shown later in the movie, and that amv showed it was possible to include those effects and still look good. That being said, I sort of lazily finished the final 45 seconds of this just to kind of get it off the backlog of unfinished videos, not TOO lazily, but sort of. So now I can move back to my bigger projects!
