Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

You're actually supposed to upload your video to this site in order to post about it in the announcement thread. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... _step0.php If you don't, then this thread will probably get locked once a moderator notices it.

But besides from that, you did a really good job at mixing your audio and building a dialogue. A few suggestions that I would give you is to cut back a little bit on the number of anime that you used. If you had used less shows and revisited the ones that you had already used in the beginning, I think that it would have allowed you to build a stronger connection to the characters and further showcase their individual struggles. I also would suggest a different font. Stylized fonts aren't very good for subtitles because they cause the viewer to exert more effort into reading them (you should want them to be as plain as possible so that the viewer can read them without really taking any attention away from the video).

And my last suggestion is to make sure you don't use footage with watermarks on them. Watermarks can really kill a video and distract the viewer. Adding to that point, adding your own logo/ name/ watermark to the video is bad for the same reason. But like I said earlier, you did a great job at mixing the audio and capturing the mood  . Those suggestions are just things that I think would have helped really sell it
