Re: Itachi & Sasuke AMV Without You
Scene selection has improved quite a bit from the one I saw last time from you good job on that. I enjoyed that you decided to focus on Sauske's and Itachi's relationship in this one. I would disagree that this is really an action amv, Character Profile yes, I would have categorized it as Drama, it does have action elements to it yes, but I would have included drama as one of its categories, but that digresses from the amv itself so moving on.
I love that you decided to focus on just a few characters, and their past and why they are fighting each other. It made it much more interesting to watch than just a bunch of random fight scenes. The song worked really well for the concept of this video, and seemed to fit both the characters really well. Since I really consider this more of a drama video rather than an action the pacing of the song fit well for the video too.
You started to focus on a story which is good, however it still feels really linear and follows super close to the actual show episode for episode. Try maybe mixing it up a bit more. Say you could for example start with Itachi' and Sasuke's final fight and have their past be kind of a flash back rather than start with that with a flash forward to their fight. Or have something else that prompts the flashback to their past.
You have voice overs in the amv which in itself I don't have a problem with but I did find the switch between the English Dub and the Japanse version to be a bit distracting. I would have used all of one either the Dub or the Sub rather than mixing them in. You seemed to use the sub more so I probablly would have switched the dub voice over pieces to the original Japanse and subtitled it like you did the others, but that's just me.
The only other thing I disliked was the blinds transition towards the end, it seemed highly out of place in this video which had up to that point been more crossfades and hard cuts, and that was really the only generic kind of cheesy looking transition and it kind of took me out of the video a bit.

Re: Itachi & Sasuke AMV Without You
I follow you, I add drama. I put action because in some scenes are present fighting.
I'm happy you like it and I would do more amv of this genre.
i used sub and dub because i dont find some english episodes and so i cut episodes' subs but I imagined that someone see the difference. So is better if i use only sub episodes?
Sorry, which hard cuts you dont like at the end? i dont understand.
Thank you for all, really. You help so much:)

Re: Itachi & Sasuke AMV Without You
I mean its fine to to put action as the genre, hell it's fine to even put action in it. I mean most of my videos are drama videos and I usually also tag on action on mine as well because while I mostly edit drama styled videos most of the sources I use are more action driven shows. I only suggested it because the concept, and song and the way the video as a whole panned out it would for sure fit more the drama than the action, but you can include action in it's category I do on mine all the time.
Really either one works so long as you don't have subbed footage everywhere in your video unless you need it to understand what the character is saying. I primarily use footage that has been dubbed but that's because I work off of DVD and Bluray sources mostly that I prep myself. So Sub or Dub is rather unimportant so long as you have clean footage to work with. You can always add in the subtitles later if you need them if your audio is in another language. But look for clean footage, use dvd and bluray if you can. We have guides for them this one is slightly older for working with dvd footage but if you use the corresponding amv app with it you should still be fine:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech31/
There are other guides you can look through too either on the main page on the left hand side bottom of the menu there should be a guide tab, click on that and it will bring up more, plus I think there may be one or two in the video and audio help segment of the forums here too.
It wasn't the hard cuts I didn't like it was at 2:11ish 2:12ish the folding blind like transition, I don't know what it is called in your editor as I don't know what you edit on but it came across out of no where since you were using more hard cuts and fades. So the hard cuts and fades are fine, it was more the really generic looking plugin transition that didn't seem to fit with the aesthetic look of the rest of the video.
