Thanks for the feedback, Yeah, it's hard to make a coherent plot with such limited amount of source footage, and that was the hardest part about it. And I do admit I did drop them halfway too... oh well.. Haha. Thankstayuyagirl wrote:First thing that caught my attention in this was the colour correction and camera motion; the constant shakiness mixed with the blue tinge made me feel like I was watching a cam rip of the movie, which made it hard to focus sometimes (and made me a little dizzy). I'd recommend toning them down in the future; the shaky camera can be effective in small segments, but when it dominates almost an entire video it gets pretty distracting. A lot of your transitions were also too harsh this kind of video--mainly the flashes--like at :05, :22, 3:04, etc, for example. I did like your scene choice in relation to the mood though (2:08-2:12 especially). There were little segments throughout the video that felt really solid mood-wise, but unfortunately because the story went all over the place they didn't really connect to each other.
I admire your attempt to set this video apart from other AMV's with this movie by using overlays and special effects, but most of them felt tacked on and didn't really add anything to the video, and you dropped most of them halfway anyway. Overall I think the first minute of the video was much stronger than the rest of it, and you probably would've benefited from cutting it down and keeping the plot more concise.
