Menma's Wish
Hey everyone. This was my entry to Otakon's Romance/Sentimental category this year. Unfortunately this time I was relegated to the Overflow Screening.
That said I still wanted to show of the video my wife and I made this year because we are very proud of it.
We felt that the song really matched the main reasons Menma was still around in the show (because she cared for Jintan). Also I felt like there was a special connection between the song and the show because of how literally the lyrics could be taken.
The song is supposed to be sung from Menma's point of view.
That said the video is definitely more of a tear jerk-er if you've seen the show. That may have hurt us a little bit in making the finals. Hopefully you enjoy it either way.

As one of the Beta-Testers to this video, I cannot recommend it enough.
I remember watching this at the AMV Overflow at Otakon, and some people around me were like "Man, it's like they pulled out every trick in the book to make this AMV sadder". Anohana is definitely that kind of anime though, so you did a good job recreating the feel. Did you submit to "Drama" or "Romance" btw?
