Hey everyone! I thought I'd give this whole AMV thing a shot (much like so many of you have done), so I went with a song that's a bit more mainstream/popular to (hopefully) ease my transition into the video editing world.

I look forward to learning more about how to do these properly! I've enjoyed so many AMVs over the years that the desire finally grew enough to give one back. I hope my first submission doesn't cause anyone's eyes to bleed. Comments and critiques are welcome!

Nice job! This is not bad at all for your first video. In fact, it's pretty decent. There's some good attention to detail, like the Garuda sync at 0:49. That was good stuff.

My overall impression of this video is favorable, but nothing really stands out as such. It's competently edited, but not exceptionally so. For your first vid, this is impressive!

I'd recommend listening to your song's dynamics and making sure what you're showing fits the intensity of the song. The Garuda part mentioned above is great. But parts like 2:29 go on for far too long. Don't be afraid to cut the song, you don't have to use the whole thing!
