So this looks like your first amv, so I'm going to try and not be too terribly harsh, but here's somethings to maybe consider for your next amv:

For the song you chose the editing should have been a bit faster, you had a high paced song and really long clips. Also the quality was pretty low, it was really blurry and heavily pixilatated (I think it may have done this because you stretched the footage trying to hide the subtitles). The t.v. simulation effect I didn't get it didn't seem to add much to the amv, and in many cases because the footage you used was so blurry and pixalated it made it harder to tell what was going on. For example at 2:10ish had I not seen the show before I would have no idea what I was looking at, but I figured it out from the rough character shapes and the explosive rolling into the scene.

The song you picked though I thought fit the anime really well. I think you just needed more quicker cuts to make it sync together a bit better. Also maybe more fight scenes since this song did seem better suited for an action amv but there really just wasn't that much action going on (again much in part to it being really long clips just kind of thrown together. I could tell that you had planned where things went as I could tell you were trying to tell a story but again because the clips were so long it seemed more random than anything else). As for quality of your footage if you have the money for it I would definitely recommend buying the DVD's or Blu-Rays and preparing the footage yourself instead of relying on downloaded subbed footage. Psycho-Pass I picked up for about a total of $60 in a Blu-Ray DVD combo pack so it's a pretty good price for it, and it was at a convention where I got it (So it may have been more expensive than if you found them on line somewhere Rightstuf: http://www.rightstuf.com/site/main/index.html usually has some pretty good deals going on I usually check there first and then compare prices. I'd say 80 percent of the time they're the cheapest) Once you have your DVD's you can download the amv app here:

This guide helped me out a lot when I first started working with DVD footage walks you through the process of preparing the footage and dealing with aspect ratios and all that good stuff:

Effects I would say use more sparingly, if it doesn't add anything to your amv's story or concept then you probably shouldn't be using it.
Hope to see more from you in the future and see you improve.
