I'm not much into actively promoting my own videos, but I think I scared everyone with this video. I've never had this many views and not get a rating. Not that it matters so much to be rated, but it is always a curiosity.
So I'm here to boost it. I never even heard the term 'AMV' until a couple months ago when a friend said something bizarre to me. Realized I had seen them, but ignored them despite my excitement in anime. I've already spent hundreds of hours, every free moment last couple of months having extraordinary amounts of fun.
So I'm new. Hi everyone! I'm trying to bring something different to the table that is uniquely me. Although I will be working on some ideas that are pure style, I like building stories. And it all comes down to the edit.
This was a reclaiming of using Sword Art Online after a disaster of a first attempt with a different song. I love everything about how this one turned out.
And despite all my videos marked that I use spoilers, I muddle them up so much out of context that it really doesn't have spoilers. This one in particular stays clear of any important spoilers.
And I'll probably be doing some weird stuff into the future so always keep looking if you like what I'm up to.

Re: 'Innocence'
Love those sentimental AMVs of sao
, isnt bad, but becomes boring to watch after the first minute, transitions could be more interesting and have more variation (some of your transitions are too strong for this kind of song, 0:39 in example), and i dont like too much those static scenes neither, other than that good. Also..this is your first post so..welcome here!

Re: 'Innocence'
Thanks so much for the greeting! And your thoughts, I certainly appreciate it!
I was definitely experimenting with a lot of things here, some to great results, some not so much, you mention static scenes which I don't care much for either (one I'm thinking of in particular) but I also had to fight against a faster cut I had so I...*ahem*...let it go.
I was also excited that I managed to salvage SAO from the doom I was bringing to it with another song, so I think that just made me ecstatic enough to overlook a few indiscretions. Thanks so much for checking it out!

Re: 'Innocence'
I like the AMV, especially if its about Kirito and Asuna in SAO
The music fits well with the video, and the opening of the amv is nice one aswell!
But only some of the transitions should be less strong like MadaraxD said
(Like the transition at 00:39)
But you did a good job on this AMV!
Keep it up

"What do you think Doc, am I crazy?"
"It sounds like you have a classic case of Anatidaephobia, which is a fear of being watched by ducks. I recommend that you go to the store, buy many loaves of bread and and feed the ducks. Feed ALL the ducks. FEED THE DUCKS!."
"That's your advice?"
"FEED THEM!"

Re: 'Innocence'
Ah, Asuna.......wait, did someone say something? YES I WAS PAYING ATTENTION. ^_^
Thanks for the remarks, I tend to agree, it was part of how I was trying to mislead the viewer and I think if I toned down how bright it gets in a couple parts it wouldn't be as noticeable. Live. Learn. Done. Because it works really well in a couple parts, but it's like adverbs...no matter how many you have there are probably still too many.
And for some reason I like setting up my videos, another one is less music video more short film with my silliness.
Thanks again for the comments! I may have to revisit SAO again (or just tell it I love it and get married??
) but there are too many more vids to be done. Sigh, Asuna.....
