This was my entry for round one of the Quickening. Group B~
For those of you who couldn't understand my story:
So my basic premise here was that Yomi gets jealous of Mato when she starts ignoring her. The two get into numerous fights until Yomi becomes obsessive over Mato (hence the painting). Meanwhile, the fights between the two girls are personified and intensified in the other world they are slowly creating. When Mato realizes this, she tries to make up with Yomi. Sadly, she hits a wall and is unable to change what is happening. When she sees how obsessive Yomi has become and every attempt she makes to make up fails, she falls into despair. When she gives up, she kills Yomi psychologically in the real world and literally kills her in the other world. When Mato realizes what her carelessness has done, her despair transforms her into something else, which she must face to overcome her own distraught emotions over hurting her best friend. Sadly, she cannot do this alone. In the real world, Yomi rediscovers her painting and realizes it is her fault through her obsession that Mato is in danger. However, it is them both that created the purple BRS so together they must fight. When Yomi realizes this, she is able to be revived in the other world and join Mato in fighting the monster they both created. The story ends with them both making up. The end.
