Just a fun AMV I made after watching the Hunger Games. Wanted to make something with the soundtrack, and this was the result.

Fate/Stay UBW is a great movie too. Fun to edit with it. :)

I had plans to do more with this, but another AMV came along that I'm working on and want to dedicate my time to that one.

I've been watching a lot of Fate/Zero lately, so at first I was like "Ugh...ok, shall I watch more Fate?" Glad I did - refreshed my memory of what's come before in a way that seemed more focused on giving the viewer time to absorb what's going on than racing through the AMV with fast sync that's all action, action, more action.

My main constructive criticism comment has to do with how the AMV jumped right into an action scene without any setup or emotional hook. There was a lot more setup/emotion later on in the AMV, which (if that had been established first) would have lent more weight to Shirou being hoisted into the tree by Rider and Rin rescuing him. There also were a lot of characters and conflicts shown, when in fact the main conflict resolved in the AMV was between Caster, Archer, Rin and Shirou. The drama and emotional impact really came from them and their scenes, but there were a lot of scenes where other characters or other things were going on that took away from that main conflict.

Of course, this is Fate/ we're talking about, so there are lots of other characters and conflicts to deal with by default. :)
