Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

This is my first attempt at a multi-anime AMV. Any constructive criticism you all can offer would be greatly appreciated!

THAT WAS REALLY GOOD!

Simple, yet effective. "Not to sweet, not too rancid, but juuuuuuust right!" A real feel-good AMV.

It just didn't really feel right when the Eureka Seven OP kicked in like it did. A little too fast-paced for the mood. And I guess it was a little confusing to find some comedy in it (being a serious AMV and all).

Overall:
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

I admit, it's kind of abrupt...but at that point in the song, I felt like the pacing of the video really needed to pick up. I also picked that particular scene because in the shot right before it, the camera pans up to the sky. Going from that to a scene that also happens in the sky seemed like it would make for a good transition.

I assume you're talking about the "Sexy No Jutsu"? :D

I'll echo Tech's comments. Simple, yet effective and enjoyable.

I think it was a tad slow editing wise whenever the song really gets going, but you did a fantastic job with scene selection and the anime you chose. Definitely a keeper for me without a doubt.

Great concept and good execution of it. This is one of those AMVs that I think people can learn an important lesson from. Sadness is just part of life, but there's also happy times too!

That last bit with "BE HAPPY" with the font at the end? Exellent.

So in short, I highly reccomend this one. Had a few pacing mishaps as I already mentioned, but all in all it's a great experience.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Pacing is something I still need to work on; but I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless! :awesome:
