Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

and here's the catalog entry
for future reference, you can do that using the vidid tags. You don't have to use them, but it does save a bit of typing. Just place your video's id (the last part of the url of your video's information page) in between the tags like so.

Re: My new amv [Taking you down]
It wasn't bad. It needed some polish, but it wasn't bad.
I think the biggest issue that I had with it was how it just indescriminately went in between so many different fights without much transitioning. In other words, it just really lacked an active concept. Even action videos can have a concept. It didn't have to be much, just something to really tie all the footage together. In fact, it doesn't even have to tell a story. Just something like "I wanted to highlight the best badassery of Ichigo" or "I wanted to tribute the Rukia Rescue Arc", and then finding footage that brings that across. So tying in with this, the scene selection needed some work. Stuff like Izen's stare or the varying captains thrown in looking dramatic really didn't add much to the AMV, and distracted from the overall presentation.
While it's a minor complaint, there was a japanese watermark in there. I suggest cropping those out, even for scenes that didn't last very long.
The ending also came extremely abruptly and ended with no real closure.
Like I said, it wasn't terrible. You hit the mood of the song pretty well, and your sync wasn't bad. I was geniunely interesting in watching it through all the way. It just needed more focus on what it was trying to accomplish, rather than throwing lots of dramatic footage at it.
